Product tour with sample contentSearch for “guide”, open a result, and read the match in context. Return to the results with your search intact.

Find the result and its source.

Search for a decision, shared file, or task with the words you remember. Narrow the results by type and source, then return to the place where the content belongs.

  • Message, file, task, Canvas, channel, and people results

See different types of content for the same query. Choose a message, person, or channel to continue in the place that matches what you need.

  • Source, sender, date, and content filters

Narrow a long set of results by source, sender, or date. Review results containing a file or link separately.

  • from:, in:, and has: search operators

Include where it was shared or who sent it when you know. Use the people and place suggestions in search to choose the scope.

  • Open a result at its exact source and message

Open the result and read the messages around it. Review the context of the discussion rather than treating one sentence on its own.

Read the plan at its source.

A search for “first week” also finds the shared guide. Open the Canvas page to read the plan, meeting notes, or team handbook in detail. The channel and content type help you choose the right source.

Search shows matching records and their sources. Asking Astra for a sourced answer is a separate capability requiring an eligible plan and configured provider. You can still open and read source content in regular search.
